Every piece carries a legacy; ours began over four decades ago.
It all began in 1980, when a descendant of Italians—deeply inspired by traditional Japanese woodworking—founded Officina São Lázaro with the purpose of creating handcrafted pieces of exceptional quality.
The first workshop opened its doors in Embu das Artes, already renowned as a tourist destination and a national reference in art and craftsmanship. At a time when São Paulo was undergoing rapid urban expansion and an increasing appreciation for design, Officina São Lázaro began serving a discerning clientele seeking exclusive, handcrafted furniture.

Over the years, this passion for craftsmanship was passed on to the founder’s son—an enthusiast of watches, engineering, and design. Inspired by his family’s tradition and driven to explore new paths, he founded Wooden Atelier: a brand that blends artisanal heritage with innovation, dedicated to creating wooden watch cases that combine sophistication, functionality, and truly original design.

Each piece is born from the union of artisanal technique and modern engineering, designed to showcase and preserve every watch with the elegance it deserves. More than simple accessories, Wooden Atelier’s watch cases are true works of art—places where time finds its home.
